goodbye grammy

our great-grammy passed away at the age of 92 on april 27th of this year. today was the memorial service in her honour. we couldn't go because it was in nova scotia, but we got to meet our great-grammy once and we are so glad we did (well, we can't really remember, but our ma sure is glad she got to meet us). someday soon we will visit her home of campobello island and we will hear stories of who our grammy was, but today we say goodbye.

...cause when her boy is all worked up at night and gonig crazy, she realizes that he just needs to say goodbye to his gloves.

...cause even though she is one of the most intense undertakings of her life, and even though she works and studies and goes to school, she is always there for her babes.

...cause she's fun.

...cause she gives good baths.

...cause she sings "...after time"

...cause she loves to paint and tell stories and sing and draw and teach our babes.

...cause she plays in the sand and the dirt.

...cause she is firm whenever she needs to be, but always kind.

...cause she's a super cuddler.

...cause she makes our babes feel important.

...cause she's beautiful.

...cause she loves with all her being.
